Stressful times call for strength workouts. While strength training has taken a back seat lately, I know how important it is for a successful half marathon training cycle. And of course, when the going gets tough, there’s nothing like a hard, sweaty workout session to get those endorphins pumping.
I recently had the opportunity to try out some new gear from Puma, including it’s FormLite XL Ultra Wn’s shoe.
These minimalist shoes (who’s soles were inspired by feathers!) also have rubber pods in the midsole that offer superior cushioning, comfort and stability. I wore these for a short run and felt pretty supported. They are definitely light, flexible and comfortable! I think going forward, I would mostly use these for strength training workouts at the gym.
Note the feather-like, super flexy soles:
Puma also recently launched their compression clothing line. I mean really, how can you not smile wearing workout gear like this!
With new ACTV technology, the gear is designed to work with how your body naturally moves during working out. The tank is light and flowy and the pants .. well the pants are just rad.
And if the gear isn’t fun enough for you, I got a fun circuit that will have you jumping around as if you were in elementary school again ; )
Do you find that wearing workout gear you love helps motivate you to exercise? What’s your favorite no-equipment workout move?
