I know I’ve been going non-stop for over a week now- but I’m absolutely loving everything right now! This includes snow. I mean, I’ve always loved snow.. but I’ve never taken portraits in it. Now, I’m kind of obsessed! This week (and next) is our Wedding Photography module (FINALLY!!!) and we are extremely lucky to have Andrea of Servidone Studios as our teacher. She’s a fellow BU CDIA grad herself and now is a super successful wedding photographer, so needless to say, she’s kind of my hero : ) I can’t believe how much I’ve already learned in just one day.
She’s just awesome..
After covering the basics yesterday, we headed outside to practice posing each other and working with natural light. Kate, one of my classmates, served as my model. She’s kinda pretty. I’m in love with these photos..

These photos came out great- it looks like BC dorms behind you haha.
I wish you could spread some of your love for snow to me, I know it’s pretty but it’s become such a pain that I could really do without it haha.
Ha! You’re right it does. We’re in Waltham here though.
Oh cool! Those photos turned out great! It snowed her on Sunday, too, and it was so pretty. I am kicking myself for not taking a picture as it felt like I was living in a snow globe. It would have been perfect for a photo shoot as the weather was really mild, too.
I’m excited to here how the wedding section of your classes goes for you! That is awesome you’ll be working with a great alumn!
These portraits are great! The snow just adds this whole other whimsical element. Now I really wish I had some snow near me!
