One goal of mine for 2013 is to partake in a monthly self-portrait project of sorts. I knew I wanted to do a year long photo project this year, but I wasn’t ready to commit to a 365-day project.. so monthly it is! I think as photographers, we tend to shy away from being in front of the camera. But there is so much to be learned from it. I expect a lot of this year (similarly to the the last) to be about discovering myself and my style as a photographer, so I think it will be fun to see how I evolve over twelve self-portraits!
