Good morning : ) How was everybody’s weekend? Mine was great but went by really fast. I laid low Friday night because I had to wake up at 5am to catch the train to Long Island to assistant shoot another wedding on Saturday. It was a day wedding, which I was done by 6pm, my kind of party! It was such a nice treat to be catching a normal timed train home, everyone should have day weddings haha.
Then yesterday, Jimmy and I went to Cirque du Soleil Zarkanna, which was playing at Radio City Music Hall. I’ve never been inside venue and was excited to check it out! It was beautiful..
The show itself was great! I’ve been once before with my family a couple of years ago, but this show was pretty different (mainly because it wasn’t in a tent so it had a different overall vibe).
I feel like I’ve been running all over the place since getting back from vacation and still haven’t had any time to sit down, make a to-do list and do laundry (it’s piling up big time!). I move next week – where did the time go!? So you can imagine the to-do list will be quite long. I love waking up on a Monday morning motivated to get stuff done though, it’s a great feeling!
On that note, I’ll leave you with some Monday motivation:

How was your weekend? Do you have a motivational mantra that you repeat to yourself?

Wow, crazy- I can’t even picture it NOT in a tent haha.
My weekend was pretty good- Saturday was great, I went for an early bike ride and then Eric and I did an awesome Boston Harbor/Charles River crusie. Sunday I was kind of crabby but I did manage to get frozen yogurt with Tiff and do a swim/run with Pat, so overall pretty great weekend!
Right!? It was much more like a play than the one we went to.
Sounds like a fun weekend! I think Day weddings are a great idea. I will be a bridesmaid in one this October. I could see myself doing a day wedding and having brunch afterwards or something like that.
My weekend was great. I did a 16 mile run with my club and then went up to my parents’ lake home for the rest of the weekend. It was a lazy lake weekend, which was just what I needed!
16 miles, way to go!! I think a brunch wedding would be so cool!
