A little behind the times, I just discovered this Mercedes-Benz ad. It really made me think about what kind of person I am and what “side” I fall into. I feel like my left brain and right brain are always fighting with each other. I know I have skills in both, but they can’t seem to ever agree with each other. My left brain tells me to stay inside the lines, to find meaning in the numbers, to plan ahead and to be in control. My right brain tells me to follow my passions, to take chances, to find color on a dark winter day, to make my own path and see where it takes me. Lately, my right brain has been itching to break free.
Are you left-brained or right-brained? Or a little of both?

I am definitely mostly right-brained but I do have a little bit of left-brain in me which tends to be more analytical and logical. Eric is totally left brained!
I’m with you – a little of both! I like to plan out everything but then there’s a huge part of me that just wants to follow my heart and go wherever the wind takes me!
I am both…or I am neither. I say neither because when I read both of those descriptions, I hate them both for me, does that make sense? I am not a big fan of science or math, but I’m not a big fan of art or poetry… I fall somewhere in the middle, I care more about history and books (though not english because that reminds me of crappy books). I care more about personal relationships, and always learning… and something somewhere in the middle of those two extremes… hard to pinpoint though.
I am very much left-brained. I need order and I like things to be black and white. I have no creativity (I am not being modest, it’s true) and I just tend to prefer math and numbers and such, and I consider myself to be pretty logical (not that right brainers aren’t logical, but left brainers seem to be especially so!).
That said, I do love to read, which may fall under right brain!
